We were recommended this place and are very happy we were. We arrived around 520 on a Saturday. The line was to the gate. It took us about 40 minutes to get to where they take your order and give you your food. While waiting in line you can have someone go to the bar and get a drink. It can sound like a long wait but you get your food as you order so you do lose the wait like at a normal restaurant waiting for them to cook everything. Once you get to the "meat station" there was a guy cutting meat who was very friendly. You tell him what meats you want and the girl next to him gets your sides. I ordered the ribs and flat iron beef shoulder with the Mac and cheese and brisket biriyani along with a texas twinkle. My wife ordered the turkey and barbacurry beef with the beans, slaw and potato salad. Total for all of that was about $80. Food was AMAZING! This was some of the best food ive ever had. It was so worth the wait. The flat iron beef was absolutely perfect. Ribs were so tender. You do take your food and find a table. There is no tableside service but I promise it is worth it. I can not wait to introduce this place to friends.

Southern Junction provided a spectacular fusion brunch experience. Classic BBQ with Indian influences made for a wonderful meal. One member of our party went with a brisket sandwich, and the other threee (myself included) split a trinity platter, which turned out to be a wonderful introduction to most of their menu. Two of us handled picking up the food orders, while the other two went into the bar to order cocktails for the group. Everything came together brillantly at the table, where we dug in happily. No two BBQ spots any place in the country can be expected to be the same, and the Indian touches at Southern Junction stake out a unique, delicious spot.

Truly a wonder of the world. Situated on an unassuming street in Buffalo, Southern Junction needs to be at the top of your list for BBQ spots. The portion sizes? Generous. Taste profile? Immaculate. Service? Knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, but I ate until I dropped. 10/10 doctors recommend. Flying colors. Fantastic experience. Will be back.

BEST BURGER of my life! Usually I hate burgers but DAMN this was amazing. It was so soft but so thick and the alioli was the perfect compliment! I ate it all in one sitting. The staff was so kind and were very patient. The atmosphere was amazing and all the directions are very clear which keeps things running very smoothly. Sometimes it can get very busy so make sure to arrive early as some things do sell out. There's a lot of space which makes everything comfortable. An amazing restaurant that is a must visit in buffalo!

Nice twist to BBQ and Indian food. Counter service. Few inside tables, bar seating available. Street parking. Portions were decent but not Texas size. Meats may run out, so don't order too late in the day. Will be back. Good vibes, bartenders were attentive and social.
